automkv: bitrates in profiles

I'm starting to use AutoMKV for my DVD to H.264 encodes. The quality is great and Ilook foward to using it with my new Archos 605.

One question for anyone who knows. I also want to use it for my wifes Ipod. I have been selecting the Ipod 5.5 profile and I see that it has a max bitrate of 1.5 mbps. (Max it can play)

But , if I have found by mistake that if I set a large file size, Automkv will produce that size. It has to be larger than 1.5 mbps when I do the math. (File size to video / audio bitrate)

What do I need to do to ensure that the file with stay at the profiles bitrate settings?

if you specify a Disk Settings AutoMKV will compute the bitrate automatically ... so overriding the limit of profile

i suggest to use in advanced settings "Specify Bitrate" and set it to near max allowed (video+audio)

in that case AutoMKV regardless of Disk Settings will use the bitrate specified
