issues with converting dvd rip into H.264

So I have ripped to one .vob a copy of Cars, which works fine on my computer. When I try to convert it to H.264 it says the movie is only 800mb when its more like 6gigs and its only 8min long. This is the only movie I have seen it do this with.
I have my Nero up to date and everything.
What do you guys think it could be?

a DVD are compose with many .vob files, no only one. 6Gb will be all vob files. In your screen are normal, only one vob of 315Mb = 8 min

You need all vob files from the movie :)

I agree, but this same file says 6gigs in the folder.
