Got a confusing one here ive got some movies that ive recorded and burnt to dvd with my camra . So i am trying to take my videos that i have burnt to DVD and put them on my website .
To do this i used dvd decryptor to extract the chunks that i need and premier to export them as quicktime files using the squeeze codec and a 5mb\s bitrate my problem is finding the right bitrate and resolution to use for them online , The input quicktime files are at 720,576 DVD resolution .
Im not worried about the file size i have hostgator i just want the videos to play without skipping on 1MB Broadband thats my only constraint and i want to keep the quality and resolution as close to the orignal as possible .
So im looking for the best way to approach this do i keep the 720,576 resolution ? and what bitrate should i choose . its confusing with vbr and the different video lenths
Thanks for the help guys
