Using PGCedit to decrypt my movies

I seem to vaguely remeber making rips of my movies with PGCedit, before ripit4me came along. Been having problems lately with ri4m as of late and was wondering how to use pgcedit to rip them. anyone got any suggestions? I hate taking the movie out with the portable, or the dvd player in the car because the movies are forever getting damaged. Back-ups solve the problem nicely.

That plugin is long out dated. Why not use other programs such as DVDFab or AnyDVD.

DVDFab (http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm) is. AnyDVD (www.slysoft.com) is shareware. 21 day trial.

I still use Pgcedit occasionally. I don't know how outdated it is; some of what i use it to back-up is pron, which generally is not on the cutting edge of copy protection. Do a search for Pgcedit with PSL2 plug-in. That's basically the set-up you were using before Ripit.

You might aswell keep up with the latest protections even if the discs rarely have any protection on them (e.g. R4 Aus).
