Hello again,
I'm wondering, if and how a PowerDVD OEM 2-ch license that comes preinstalled on a new notebook with a Windows Vista Home Premium (recovery partition) can be moved to a fresh installation on that same notebook. I need to be able to logon to Windows domains, so I've replaced the Vista Home installation with Windows XP Professional. Can the license be moved into the new installation? It will be running on the same machine it was originally intended for just under a different Windows OS.
Same question BTW for NTI CD/DVD-Maker. Not that important, but still would be nice, if I were able to use all the software, I have already paid for by buying the notebook. Bad enough, I have to pay Microsoft twice, because you can't buy that particular notebook without the crappy Vista Home license.
