This happens without fail:

About 8 minutes into playing a DVD for the first time, PowerDVD 7 halts and grinds the hard disk for about 30 seconds, then resumes playback.

I decided to check Windows Vista event viewer, and this is what happens at the exact time it halts (this is three separate occasions):

The error says PowerDVD 7 has faulted, yet it doesn't actually shutdown. It resumes playback in 30 seconds or so. I notice the last fault says it was due to OLE32.DLL.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing and it didn't change anything. Anyone have any ideas?
