Outlook 2007

Is there a way to to set up outlook to be able to receive and view mail on one one pc and also see the same mail on my second pc ? I was told that there was a way to do this by saving the mail on the isp server by going to TOOLS > OPTIONS > OTHERS > ADVANCE OPTIONS > SERVICE OPTIONS > OFFLINE EDITING OPTIONS and check the web server, but this didn't work for me!

I'm not on a network by the way.

set outlook to SMPT/IMAP rather than POP3
it means you'll have to save>delete your mail more often though as most ISP only give you maybe 20megs of storage

With POP3: Set your account up, go to more settings, advanced tab, and check "Leave a copy". Checking both of the others is also a good idea, so that you don't run out of space or end up syncing spam with everything else. This page has screenshots. (http://support.tigertech.net/outlook-2007-lmos) It's the same on outlook 97 up.

With IMAP: Everything's shared already.

you will probably run out of mailbox space pretty quick like this.

You could setup a personal mailbox that all emails are stored in and access it from any pc

Get a gmail account with 30+ gigs storage space and configure all your existing POP accounts to forward all mail to the gmail account. That way you can easily access all of your mail (and a lot of it) from any PC.
