I'm using megui, and I'm trying to reencode some xvid/mp3 videos as x264/aac for playing through Front Row on a mac. I've been following some guides, but they are tailored to dvd ripping, and I've hit a brick wall.
My first step was to make an avi-synth script with the built-in tool. I specified the options i wanted; input; output; used the quicktime profile for encoding; nero-digital for sound etc.
Everytime I start the job however, I get an error. I know encoding works as I use the one-click encoder on mpeg2 video, and that works.
If anyone regularly does this type of thing, then could you please let me know in a few steps what I need to do?
