I plan to invest in some HD equipment (an HDTV, a HD DVD drive and of course, movies) and was wondering about HD playback on computers.
In order to safeguard my future investment, I simply plan on dumping the discs onto my hard drive, and playing back from there...which leads to my questions:
Which software player should I use, and will there be restrictions on the playback on the content if analogue output is used (I do have a HDCP compliant video card, but I have an analogue monitor [I'll want to playback on my monitor, in some cases] and plan to use DVI output with the HDTV)?
