Could not play and open DVD in my PC...

It is the first time happened that I could not open/play a DVD in any of my 2 drives. The DVD plays fine in a stand alone DVD player.
What could be the problem with DVD, my computer, or both? Is it possible to make it open/play on my computer. My OS is Window XP, 1GB memory, ND-1300A and ND-3550 drives. Thanks.

It is a russian made DVD recorded in PAL, region = ALL. DVD Name is: Angel-Hranitel, disk 5. It contains shows 65-80 on both sides. Thanks.

Is it a double-sided disc that's double-layer on both sides?

The Window Explorer can not open this DVD. The Nero Info tool cannot read it to get the disc information. I have checked the disc 4 of this title with shows 49-64. It is a single layer disc on both sides. Thanks.
