DVD Shrink used to work fine without any problems and now all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore. It copies fine but not burns anymore - I've always used the same disks so it's not the disks.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Grace

Welcome to Doom9.

When you say it doesn't burn any more, do you mean it doesn't call Ner0 (which is all it did) and start burning? Is burn with Ner0 ticked in the preferences (File I/O tab)?

If so, perhaps you need to reinstall both. AFAIK, uninstall both, reinstall Ner0 then DVD Shrink.

Or better still, output to hard drive and burn with ImgBurn (www.imgburn.com).

Hi,
What is happening, is that DVD Shrink encodes ok and then it starts to burn 25% of it and then an error message comes up and that's it.

Thanks, Grace

It would help if you mentioned the error message itself !

If it actually begins burning, then it sounds more like a media issue to me. You didn't get a hold of a spindle of cheap disks, did you (it happens to all of us)? If it's a newer brand of disk, it could even be a firmware issue with your burner; that's easy to fix, since your drive's manufacturer will ordinarilly post updated firmwares with flashing utilities if they are needed.

What's the error message posted? That more than anything will let us know what's up here.

Post a burn log. It is in your Ner0 folder called NeroHistory.log

In the meantime, read and implement the Golden Rules of Burning (http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49635).

Moved to DVD Burning.
