dvd playback

I just bought a dell xps 2010 with blu ray.I was very sad that I could not play my dvd's that I have.All my dvd's are in vob format.I used dvd decrypter and dvd shrink to make back ups.Unforunatly ,they will not play .On other pc 's the paly fine.Is there a solution or is the blu ray drive very sensitive??

Can it play your original, commercial versions of the same DVDs?

If so, perhaps it's a matter of it being able to play only one or the other burned media format - DVD-R or DVD+R...

It plays the original dvd΅s.
Actually yesterday I tried to play an original blu ray movie and it got stuck.Maybe there is a problem with the player itself.
