how to blur out text on movie ?

I'm going to create ass karaoke op of a fair old anime. On anime itself, op has lyric as show below screen capture.

How do I doing something like blur out the lyric , delogo process ?

Delogo-ing an anime is very difficult, especially in an OP sequence, because there is a lot of motion between frames, often making it so that even a very intelligent de-logoing program can't figure out what video data is lost "behind" the karaoke.

Where did you get this video; are the karaoke subs hardsubbed onto the DVD??

I ripped from my DVD boxset. The original karaoke subs are hardsubbed.

You may noticed that there are blurred text behind the karaoke effects created by the karaoke maker.

Do as many others, karaoke the romaji and leave the kana alone.

If it irritates the heck out of you, nothing says you have to live with it, though, and results will be less than perfect but better than ugly. Search for Delogo filter for the filter and basic scripts to make use of it, then load a frame of each set of text into paint software to make a mask. (binarize+scrape out unwanted parts, basically.)
