Hi... I'm trying to encode a AVI file with Sonic Cinevision 2.0.2

But it is encoding only for Blue-ray and HDDVD... I just want a normal DVD, with 9mb/s bitrate, and 720x480...
When I try to open a avi file with 720x480 pixels, it don't open... a error message appears saying that the video is not compatible with Blue-ray.

Have someone succefully encoded a AVI file with Cinevision for a standard DVD ?

CineVision encode in SD def but with the limitations allowed for Blu-Ray and HD-DVD.
For example it is NOT supported PAL video flagged as Progressive (25p). So if you feed CineVision with a progressive PAL video you'll receive a message box that will prevent the encoding process. To overcome this, import an interlaced video or flag the progressive video as interlaced (this will lead in a -bit- lower picture quality even if you set ZigZag scanning order and Frame picture structure).
