Pagefile incident

I used to have pagefile disabled, but yesterday i enabled it for troubleshooting. That was not the cause, so i again disabled it. I did not reboot computer immediately. When i today booted up my computer, pagefile wasn't deleted, so i manually deleted it (file pagefile.sys on root C: ).

I'm just wondering why it wasn't deleted automaticly when computer was booted? Is this just a "normal" thing, that can happen sometimes?

In my experience it is normal. When I have had to free up space , I disabled it, rebooted and then deleted it.
