restore interlaced NTSC to interlaced PAL

several times fully interlaced (every field is unique) PAL recorded things are converted to NTSC for broadcast by means of field repetitions/slight blending or whatever but no speeding up of the source.

i know how to take 60i (29.97 interlaced) and restore to 24.975p
but i was wondering is there any way to restore interlaced NTSC source files back to its original interlaced PAL form
my encoding process i use dvd2avi .d2v file >> avisynth >> vdubmod >> xvid

if it's done by blending, you'll end up with a ghosty bit of footage (standards conversion is not reversible). if it's done by motion compensation, you'll be able to take it back to PAL without much damage.

look for motionprotectedfps or one of the scripts from the "alchemist" thread.

you'll end up with a slightly ghostier output regardless, as that's the nature of standards conversion to blend stuff together if it can't think of a better way to handle itself.
