Just a quick question about PGCEdit ...

I am currently playing with the bonus DVD for the Disney movie "Atlantis: The Lost Empire". Unfortunately, it skips the main menu and heads straight to one of the bonus features, and if you're at all familiar with bonus discs, you know they're full of *tons* of stuff, so, for obvious reasons, I want to make it jump to the main menu.

I've been following along with Jean's guide to do exactly this ( http://jean.laroche.free.fr/Jumping0.4.3.1/index.html#Menu ), and I've had great success with many of the DVDs I've had to do this too. This one, however, is a tad different, in that there aren't any free GPRMs on this disc. Following the link in his guide ( http://jean.laroche.free.fr/Jumping0.4.3.1/index.html#FREE ) which says to look for a GPRM that has only been used once, I discovered that there are actually quite a few of those on this disc. However, I'm a little confused about something - he says, "If you find one, you're good but make sure you delete the line where it was set (so that does not mess up our little scheme!)." My confusion lies in that I have absolutely *no* idea how to delete the line where it was set, or, to be quite honest, exactly what he *means* by this.

If someone could point me in the right general direction with this particular instruction, I'd be eternally grateful ... :)

Use Info -> GPRMs. In the GUI, the right column shows you the usage count of each GPRM. If there is a GPRM with 1 in this column, you're lucky! Click on that number. Another window is opened, where you can see the command which uses the gprm. Click on that command. The main window will change to show you the PGC with the command, and the command will be selected automatically. Click on the "Delete" button in the bottom part of the main window. That's all.

If you can't find a free gprm and all gprms are used more than once, you can't use jeanl's method easily. But there is now a completely automatic method integrated in PgcEdit, called "Jump to PGC upon DVD Insert". Try it. The first dialog explains succinctly how to use it, and there is a complete guide here (http://www.digital-digest.com/~blutach/Jump2PGC/Jump2PGC_guide.html). With this method, the free gprm is still used if it is available, but another trick is used when no free gprms are available, so it should work in all cases. It is also easier and less time consuming than jeanl's method (although, basically, it does the same thing.)
