What does one have to do in the ripping process to get a region 4 dvd to play on a region 1 player. I think I did the firmware hack on my Liteon dvd recorder,so region coding may not be be issue. Any help guys?

You'll need a player which plays PAL (25 fps) DVDs. Or convert from PAL to NTSC.

Making the region code region 1 is trvial - use PgcEdit.
