All right guys, I've been doing this by using DGIndex to rip and transcode the AC3 to WAV, and then cutting up the WAV with Audacity, and converting to MP3 with dbpoweramp. A monumental pain in the ass.

So I discovered BeSplit and ChapterXtractor. Unfortunately, BeSplit does NOT like the WAVs that DGIndex creates. Makes these garbled WAVs that crash my player.

So what is a good way to get the audio out of a DVD into a WAV format that BeSplit will play nice with, in the least amount of steps?

http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/ for a 30 day trial, works pretty good, can save in different formats, there is another 1 I've tried starts with an X(sorry can't remember),found that if you want to convert the extra videos or songs at the end of movies, use dvdshrink to cut out and save the sections you want, then convert.

That work with DTS tracks?

Ninja edit - nevermind, I'm stupid.
