Hi Guys,

got a problem that i cant solve atm, without your help.

Ripped a HDDVD (Planet Earth Vc1) to TS files. A friend of mine did that, because i only have a HD SA Player and no PC-Drives.

Now i wanted to convert these .TS Files to x264.

The only Problem i have is, that the .TS files are 1080P/29.97 and i wanted to have 720P/23.98.
So i have to do a pulldown i guess. But how? Within megui or in the avs or with something other?

Or can i do this "on the fly" since the Frames are always saved as 24P on HDDVD/BluRay, arent they?

only inverse telecine if your source is telecined. I use tfm and tdecimate to do that. If it's stored as 24fps it should've been ripped as 24fps. If it just has duplicate frames then tdecimate alone would suffice. If the source is 30fps progressive you can use tdecimate to blend the frames, although I don't know why you would want to do that.

"i only have a HD SA Player and no PC-Drives. "

You won't be able to play x264 either. You have to convert the video to a compatible format of your standalone (I guess: mpeg-2 and DivX/XviD ) ;)
