different files on 1 dvd how?

hello guys
I have heard many times that current standalone players can play mixed kind of video files from 1 dvd. (divx, xvid, wmv...) I wanna do this, but i dont know how can i do? So should i simply copy a file which made with "divx profile" to dvd or should i have to write dvd being spesific form like dvd or vcd?

Non-DVD format videos should simply be burned as Data DVD...

Just use Nero to bank up what video files you want.
