I have a problem with .evo file ripped from an HD DVD. It is 1920x1080 VC-1 probably interlaced. With PowerDVD latest patch it plays smoothly with no jitter on 23.976 fps. CPU load is around 40%.
However, with other DirectShow players there are a few problems visible (see attachment):
- video is not recognized as 23.976 but 29,970
- jitter of around 9 ms which causes some sort of pulsing effect once per second. Quite annoying.
- CPU load is roughly 10% higher than in PowerDVD
I cannot use PowerDVD because I need subtitles.
Any idea how to get rid of the jitter?
