I was wondering where I could get a copy of a compiled x264 with the Adaptive Quantization patch already applied, seeing as my knowledge of how to compile x264 with the patch is rather.. extremely limited. I've been searching around for quite a while but I can't seem to find anyone who can provide one. A good portion of my videos include a lot of dark scenes with uniform, darkish areas (Chronicles of Riddick, for one) and so far the only way I've been able to somewhat mitigate the huge blotchy blocks in those videos was increasing the bit rate way more then necessary. (A normally 1.5 GB full DVD resolution rip becomes a 3 GB one)
If anyone can point me to where I can get the patch, and how to use it, I'd really appreciate it..
