My question is it possible to have a 64 bit multithreaded version of megui. The reason I am asking is because I found a bunch of 64 bit plugins and tools on a pair of wenpages. Is it possible to use these 54 bit versions and relace the others in the megui and avisynth folder.

I was also reading about getting some tool from the 2.0 .NET framework to change something frrom 32 to 64 bit but its all jibberish to me.
Any thoughts and solutions to this
ow yea I have
I got a AMD dual core cpu and vista 64 bit
if that helps

This question doesn't really make sense...
1. MeGUI is already multithreaded. You can create as many workers as you'd like and they can run jobs concurrently.
2. You don't need a 64bit version of megui, you'd just need to adapt megui to interface with the 64bit versions of the programs it uses. There are no plans afaik to do this.

You can get the source and build file, and adapt it to output a 64 bit binary. However, the main problem are the third party libs: you'd need a 64 bit AviSynth wrapper (along with 64 bit versions of all AviSynth filters) and a 64 bit MediaInfo lib and wrapper (plus the latter also needs to be fully vista compatible.. looking at what people are reporting here.. it doesn't always seem to work on 32bit vista). I know that neither author has announced any plans to do so and since those projects are independent of megui, megui can only go where those libs go.
So, if you really want 64 bit - get coding ;) I'm sure there are other people that would appreciate your investment of time.

64-bit avisynthwrapper was done a long time ago.

You may still have to adapt the interop classes within megui. Any volunteers?

doom9 is saying this:
MeGUI cannot do it, nobody has yet announced any intention of adding support for MeGUI to do it, you are welcome to do it yourself ;-)

You could also just forget about megui for the time being, since 64-bit avisynth preview hardly matters, and concentrate on making sure you have 64-bit x264 and 64-bit avisynth to do the actual encoding instead. There's nothing preventing 32-bit guis from calling 64-bit encoders.
