I tried encoding several short clips (xvid and mp3 audio) to test audio and video sync before I encode an HDTV movie.
I use mediainfo to get the frame rate so I know that can't be the problem. I encode audio and video seperately using the same file, but for some reason the audio and video are not the same length of time.
I tried encoding with microsoft's gui with the clip; that worked perfectly but, when I tried to encode the HDTV video I got an error after 6 hours of encoding (I didn't write down the error).
