I am working with a DV mini tape that has a GPS (position/time) streamed as an audio feed onto the DV mini tape. I am wondering if anyone has any experience taking a "subtitle" file from an audio stream for use as say an .srt file. The final outputs from these tapes is eventually a embedded subtitle file, however using OCR's is very difficult, hence the need to go back to the point of the subtitles origin as an audio stream.
EDIT: Just learned that the audio is burned in as a binary format and there exists players VMS software player and others that do output this as subs, just no luck on finding any.
