Audio and video out of sync

I recorded video from a handycam and burned direct to DVD using Nero with a perfect result. Now I am trying to rip that file to avi but somewhere along the line the video and audio no longer match up and the audio is a few seconds behind the video. I have tried 3 different PC's thinking they did not have the power to do this conversion but I get the same result. Any ideas?? NB: I have ripped DVD's in the past with AutoGK with perfect results, until now...

2) What is the audio format on the AutoGK-created .AVI?

3)Load the .AVI into GSpot and post a screencapture back here

Ok, I am strickly a beginner in this area so please bare with me.

(1) I will need to view the DVD which I do not have with me to get that information for you. How do I find that info??

(2)Again, not too sure. Maybe MPEG-1 layer 3 when I look at GSpot. I have never used this program (GSpot) before.

(3)Does GSpot have a way of exporting the information instead of a screen capture?? I do not have screen capture software, any suggestions??

You don't need any software, just hold Alt and press PrntScrn, paste that into a new Paint document and save it.

It's not unusual to have video/audio synch issues with your method - you'd be much better off importing the video from the camera and manipulating it from there instead of burning and re-ripping.
