I've been saving DVD in my hard drive without the VIDEO_TS folder. PowerDVD 6 and earlier play them fine under "Open movie file on Hard Drive". But now I have PowerDVD 7 and it expects to see the VIDEO_TS folder. Is there a setting on PowerDVD7 to not require the VIDEO_TS folder? It's painful to add the VIDEO_TS folder to every movie I have on my hard drive.

It's painful to add the VIDEO_TS folder to every movie I have on my hard drive. If at all, it'll only be "painful" to do it for the DVD "packages" that are already on your DVD. Going forward, establish a "VIDEO_TS" folder for each new DVD "package" added...

On the other hand, if all of your DVD "packages" are on the same partition, you can simply create ONE (empty) "VIDEO_TS" folder and, when you want to play a particular DVD, MOVE (NOT "Copy") the "package" of files (NOT the folder they're in) into the "VIDEO_TS" folder (This takes approximately one second). When you're finished, MOVE them back to their original folder...
