problem with media player classic when seeking on dvd

im not sure why, but whenever i try to seek to a different part of a dvd movie, qdvd.dll causes some kind of fault and media player classic crashes.

That's not an MPC bug, that's either a Microsoft bug (they make qdvd.dll), which might be fixable by updating directx, or possibly the DVD decoder you have calling it wrong, which might be fixable with a powerdvd, windvd, or dscaler update, depending on what you use.
