Help needed to make a backup of my DVDs!

Hi all, I need to make a backup of my DVDs, and was wondering which free software I can use to do this? Preferable I wouldnt want watermarks on the backup either, dont know if this is possible??

Also, it would be nice if I can play them on my iPod, dont know if this is in breach of Doom9 forum posting rules??

Just to clarify, I own the DVDs, and they were bought from a shop. Hope someone can help and that I'm not breaking any rules!

Just the first ones: Read and use search. This forum is all about backing up DVDs, so the information you seek shouldn't be hard to find at all.

For backing up DL disks to normal DVD-5 I prefer DVD Shrink, which is free, easy to use and leaves no watermark. There are many apps for converting to iPod.
