As the title says. I'm looking for some AOB with LPCM samples (i only have AOB with MLP). Is there anyone who can help me?

Pick up a copy of Dire Straits Brothers in Arms DVD-Audio (Dual sided DVD/CD) and it has a 48 khz 24 bit LPCM stream in it for 2 channel audio.

That disc is a DualDisc, so the DVD side is DVD-Video, not DVD-Audio.
I also love that album by the way ...

The one I have has 5.1 channel, 96 khz MLP streams on the DVD side, embbeded in the AUDIO_TS folder, so I do not know which version you have, but you should take it back and get the DVD-Audio version. It is 100 times better.

All the DVD-Audio discs I have is encoded by MLP, it seems rare disc use LPCM, maybe none?

I can see the reason for 2 channel. I have two such discs that use LPCM for 2 channel audio, and MLP for multi channel. PCM is what the original recording is in so i actually like it, with most audio between 1985 (This Dire Straits Brothers in Arms album is actually the first ever pure digital recording for a major album) and the late 1990's being 48 khz, 24 bit. Around late 1990's to the year 2000, recording studios began to realize that 48 khz, 24 bit is not going to cut it for the future so most recording from then on took on a higher sample rate. If the original is PCM recording, I'd like it personally unaltered and burned that way. MLP introduces copy protection that can be heard, so I'd opt for a PCM recording any day. Just my opinion.

One disappointment with DRM as of late is that one DVD-Audio title at least was found to be sold as 96 khz sample rate, but when the DVD-Audio was cracked, it was still found to be a 48 khz stream. Nice. Chock up another reason to kill DRM so that consumers are not mis-lead.

I could go on all day about this, but I'll leave it at that.

I do not own this disc, just the regular CD. Obviously I was misinformed about this disc, great to hear that it is a real DVD-Audio! I definitely need to get it ... :)

MLP introduces copy protection that can be heard, so I'd opt for a PCM recording any day. Just my opinion.

MLP is Meridian Lossless Packing, which has definitely no protection that can be heard. More so, it's lossless packing, just like for instance FLAC. The result is 100% the same as PCM, but uses less data.

The protection you mean is the Verance watermark, which can be applied to any audiotrack, and should even survive re-encoding into lowbitrate lossy codecs ...

I bought it probably a couple years ago I think. Every time I see a dual disc that lists some form of high def on the back cover, and I like the music, I'll pick it up without question.

I think the best demonstration of DVD-Audio though still happens to be Fleetwoodmac's Rumors track #3 - it is pure strings and just shows off the definition that can't be had from a simple CD. That is still my favorite.
