dvd shrink (or me!)

Hi,I have just bought a new puter running "Vista" and have DVD Shrink,now when I copy another dvd it does this ok,but when it asks me to put in a blank disk it will not proceed any further,even if I change the disk. (using another makers brand)
So can anyone help me with my problem? thanks

Silly question, perhaps, but does your new COMPUTER include a DVD burner?

Perhaps the burner does not recognise the blank. Update your firmware and use only high quality Verbatim (MCC dye) or Taiyo Yuden blanks.

These things are bound to happen when you use a "puter" instead of a "computer". oh, come on, i had to. LOL.

I'd say this is bound to happen due to Vista crap.
