Question about revealing encode information

Hello I would like to know if there is an app wich shows u encoding info of a video file.
I gave someone an x264 encode of my and that person sent me a text file with all encodin settings I used:p
Help me out pls

Not with all encoders, but x264 deliberately stores settings in the file. There are a few apps which can see it, but AVInaptic is very good and can save the text file. Find out about it here: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=123076
