Newbie , need help about IVTC progress

hi ,

maybe this is my first post , but i have 1 year of expirence in the whole encoding thing .

Now , to my problem --

my friends from school , published RAW that I wanted .
the raw was encoded from a DVD.

Unfortunately , he didn't know about IVTC and encoded directly from the DVD .

So -- I got .avi (DivX) video with line in zig-zag , and no matter what filters i apply - the line won't straight up .

My friend , which is better encoder than me - told me that it might "burn" on the video .

so , if you anything in mind how to make it right .... please tell me :stupid:
