I am trying to learn about H264 and I want to make a video encode, but the show I am using is seperated into 2 vob files.

Is there a Gui that can combine them or a way to use the IFO file instead? I was going to use AutoGK but that only has xivd support?

Would it just be alot easier to start over from scratch using handbrake? it can do H264 right?

Re-rip your DVD, this time telling your ripper to create a single VOB. All the rippers have an option for that.

I don't know if it is that important to put it in one vob, most editors can just append one to another.

But for merging the two vobs you can use VobEdit, found here:

...give a try to AutoMKV (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=113811).

Thanx for all the help!

you are right, Staxrip can connect both vob files for me!

but now I have a HUGE problem! how do I telecine a vob file?

also staxrip would not let me select IVTC filter in x264 encode.

hmmm, what should I do?
