I recorded a hockey game in mpeg2 (720x576, interlaced, 9Mb/s) Now I want to reduce size and convert it to mpeg4.
How can I do this having interlace intact. So mpeg4 must be interlaced also. I dont want to do deinterlace because I want to preserve smoothness of video, that is very important when looking hockey game.
MPEG4 could be any Divx, xvid, h264 - I dont know which one support interlace. Need you advise.
BTW can I change resolution to 512x384 or it will ruin the interlace?
