haali media + thumbnails = crash on MCE2005

ok i did search for a simular issue to this but couldnt find anything (near all seemed to be related to vista), problem is since about last week (think it started to happen right after updates from ms) if i have haali media splitter installed on mce2005 and have it set to extract a thumbnail view from a mkv media center crashed (the app not the whole pc) this happens even if i try to view avis (have not ticked the splitter to handle those) and still it happens, if i uninstall the splitter everything is fine - but i cant play any mkv files.

any idears ?

Don't enable shell integration when installing.

well all seems ok but there are still a few files that it pops up on - wmv file is one of them - apart from that all seems well

i have same problem
its on Vista Media Center 32bit
when haali is installed everything crashes :(
but when its not installed it works fine

its realy annoying to have vista mce to restart it self everytime i load a folder with mkv files in it

Disable the shell extension. Then no thumbs will be generated for .mkv and there will be no crash.
