Batch installation on windows

Hi, specifically when i set up new windows machine, i have to install
a bunch of software. The clicking on "yes" and "next" is
annoying but moreso taking time away. is there a way to automate
this process? I'd like to write a ruby script that will do it in the end, and I am
even willing to dig into the winAPI to batch-install Avidemux, Avisynth, megui, Virtualdub, ffdshow etc. etc. etc. :D
