Recently, Windows Media Player and VLC have been turning all video output pink. Media Player Classic doesn't have this problem, but instead simply crashes when I attempt to playback an MPEG or WMV file - AVI playback in MPC is flawless. At first I thought it was a problem with ffdshow, but it appears to be something with the video drivers. When I reinstall the video drivers, playback is okay for a while. It's been a couple months since I reformatted/reinstalled XP on this system, so it went that long without going pink the first time, but I just reinstalled the drivers two days ago, which solved the problem temporarily. I don't want to have to reinstall the drivers every two days. I didn't even use the same set of drivers, so I can probably rule that out, though I may be better off going with older and older drivers until I find a set that absolutely doesn't have this problem. Any suggestions or information anyone has on this would be extremely helpful. Google didn't turn up much other than a mention of disabling color correction in the Nvidia Control Panel, which I did without any result.
