sonic cinevison encoding problem

hi,
everytime i demux a vc1 steam from a evo file (using evodemux) and then import into cinevision, cinevisions time line is not correct.
i.e. cinevison says its 1h 32 mins, but film is 2h 15mins.
also when i play vc1 steam in powerdvd 7.2, it plays fine, but the time line is all wrong it reports its played 2h when its only played 1h 10mins
anyone help me?????

Note the calculated Framecount Value from Evodemux

- create a grph in graphedit :

Filesource(async)-SonicHDDemuxer-SonicCinemasterVideoDecoder

- create a avs

DirectShowSource("G:\king.Kong.HDDVD\kong.GRF",audio=false,fps=23.976,framecount=xxxxxx)

Import this avs into Cinevision

ive made grf
feature_1vc-1.mpv>sonic hd demuxer>sonic cinemaster 4.2>video renderer
saved as grf
saved a avs with this line
DirectShowSource
("c:\123.grf",audio=false,fps=23.976,framecount=171371)

then tried to open with cinevision and it says
the software that used to decode the media is not available on this system.installing the correct decoders for the files you are working with may help to correct the problem.this media file cannot be used as an input file.
ive tried just to open the vc1 file and it opens that but not the avs file

can you give me any more help???

- Recode a HD DVD movie?
It is bad :p

But if you recode in VC1 a VC1 movie you will have a bad quality, I recommand you H264 codec :rolleyes:


Your problem is easy to solve, you can make a little search...
I remember that some studio house (professional company) used and use this method
to put HD DVD movie on BD project (there is some bad technician in France)...:p

No, you can get excellent 720p/1080p encodes with VC1 to WVC1 :)
