When outputing video from my PC to the TV the picture is a little to broad. So I wanted to correct the aspect ratio with MPC's pan/scan feature.
But it just doesn't work. I can change the position, what I don't want, but when I enter different numbers for the zoom to change the aspect it just zooms both x and y axis resulting in a smaller or larger picture but the aspect stays the same.
For example when I activate the build-in 16:9 setting nothing happens at all.
Do I need to set a special output renderer? I tried VMR7/9 in renderless and windowed but it doesn't seem to help.Or does the Nvidia driver prevent the pan/scan?
I use XP with a Geforce 8600GT, connected to the CRT-TV through S-Video.
edit: I just noticed that changing height or weight through the menu works. But it's a little annoying that way as it isn't as fine tunable as the pan/scan and also can't be saved as preset.
