Thanks to this forum and much poking around, I've been successfully using MeGUI and x264 to save some DVD shows onto my PS3. I just ran into a deinterlacing problem that I haven't found a solution for, though. ATHF won't deinterlace properly!
I believe I've tried every combination of deinterlacing options in MeGUI, but not had any luck with episodes off of this particular set of DVDs. I've cut a few representative seconds from the VOB using VobBlanker. The 8MB file can be downloaded here:

I can't be the first person to try encoding this show! Anyone feel like giving me some pointers?
