series of images with dissolves and zooms

I'm hoping to create a video from about 40 pictures that looks similar to how documentaries show photographs. I'd like each one of them to slightly zoom in or out just to give a little motion to the photographs, and also a nice dissolve between them.

I know that I can do this by using a combination of imagesource, animate, and dissolve on each photograph... but it would be much nicer if there was a plugin or avsi that would do this on the fly to a set of images.

In this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p=152008#post152008), there is an example of a script that will dissolve between a series of images. It, however, does not do a nice zoom in or out between the images.

Sounds like a hell of a project - much too tedious to accomplish with AviSynth in my opinion. This is what GUI based NLEs are awesome for - or even just a stupid slideshow program like iPhoto etc...

I hope you can get it working though :D

It sounds like DVD slideshow GUI will be able to do what you're after. :)
