Will HQV produce much better results than FFDSHOW ?

Hi I notice there is a video processing technology called HQV which seems to only go in tot he top of the range Av equipment.

has any one got any knowledge on how this might compare to FFDSHOW using limtedsharpenfaster and great settings ?
