I am trying to find a way to convert a dolby digital plus track from HD-DVD to an LPCM track. Ultimately I will then mux this into a matroska or .ts file with the VC1 video but, at the moment, I have no idea how to do the audio conversion.

I have used EVOdemux to produce the demuxed DD+ track (although it's currently named with .mpa extension) but I don't know where to go from here. EAC3to seems to be able to do a lot of conversions but using the gui it looks like it only converts to an AC3 file.

Can anyone help?

Hi!it looks like it only converts to an AC3 file.Perhaps not a perfect solution but, once you've got an .AC3 audiostream, you should be able to use any number of freeware programs and audio editors to convert the .AC3 to .WAV...

Thanks for your reply.

I was trying to keep the audio quality as high as possible - so I wanted to avoid converting to ac3 if possible. However, Madshi provided a method in the EAC3to thread so I'm currently investigating that.
