View Full Version : does k3b burn 32k gaps if iso has been made with that option in pgcedit

i have asked this on k3b forums, and got no reply :( - so does anyone here know if it will, or should i try and burn them with pgcedit in linux, i havent really done much dvd writing in linux (slackware) and need a heads up :)

If you create the ISO with PgcEdit, the gaps are included in the image. Therefore, they will be present on the burnt DVD (unless you mount the ISO and burn the files it contains.)

Thanks for heads up, its just k3b is causing a few issues on latest slackware, prob due to dbus so need to sort out another source for burning :angry:

the version in slackware-current (12.0) repository is 1.02 (http://packages.slackware.it/package.php?q=current/k3b-1.0.2-i486-1). what version of k3b are you using? the 1.x branch or the old 0.x branch?

im using the version that shipped with slackware 12 final which is or should be 1.0.2, like many others im having issues with verifying dvds and data dvds mainly data cds/dvds, keepes saying that a file is not there and aborts, even though the file(s) are there
