ffdshow VFW problem

Hi

I tried to install and uninstall several versions of FFDSHOW, but after install I can't run the ffdshow VFW interface configuration. It sais ' Error loading ff_vfw.dll The specified module could not be found'. I searched my Windows/System32 folder and noticed there was no ff_vfw.dll. I tried to copy this file from my sister's laptop, but it didn't work out. The biggest problem for me is that I can't open any files in Virtualdub (VD requires VFW codecs...).

Any comment could be usefull... thx.

btw, my OS is: Windows XP Pro x64

Should only be in system32 if it is a 64-bit build.

I'm betting it's not.
If I'm right ff_vfw.dll should be in c:\windows\syswow64 and the command line to open the VFW configuration should be "rundll32 c:\windows\syswow64\ff_vfw.dll,ConfigureVFW". Change the start menu shortcut to this and it should open.
