I read and Re-read the announcement. The reason I dont have the disc's anymore is because one is cracked (Lemony Snicket) and the other is just plain lost (Waking Life). Just because I dont have the disc's anymore, means I was ripping rentals??? Thanks for assuming what I meant. Most people would just ask "So what happened to the disc's"? But you closed my thread before I could reply and explain. I just didnt think I needed to explain all of that to get a response (I like to keep it short and sweet) Im about to buy the DVDs again...Im out 40$ but they are GOOD movies! Im probably one of the only ones on this site asking about burning DVDs LEGALLY. And I still cant get help :(

Ryan--Your biggest problem was not reading the Rules and the Announcement atop the Noobies homepage; if you'd read those two documents, you'd have gotten a clearer picture about how we try to safeguard the integrity of the Forum.

Once you've mentioned that, "I no longer have the discs," we've always been reluctant to issue help for the obvious reasons. Get to know the landscape of the Forum and it's Rules, and you'll be fine; just don't open another thread to complain about the closure of a previous one. We've closed scores of threads, if not hundreds, for exactly the same reason your initial request was closed so don't feel persecuted.
