What to do with my hostel rip

Hi i have a pritty strange proble here , im trying to backup hostel . Ive got it on my HDD now i made the rip with anydvd and its fully watchible i havnt seen anything wrong with it .

The problem is shrinking it , ive tried clonedvd2 dvd shrink nero rencode but the same thing keeps happing right after i open the files on the hdd the programs memory usage skyrockets the same thing happens with clone dvd.

Ive done enough flash work to know this probibly isnt unintended i do the same thing to prtect mywork from decompilers .

So im farily sure theres no quick fix for this maby i need to give up on this one and burn it onto 2 dvds for now anyone know an app to do that or can i just split the folder

...Yes li crashes the enitre os when the swf is run ofline , anyway ive tried it with DVD Fab Decrypter and AnyDVD im still getting the same problem assuming hteyres no magic fix is their any app thatll let me split it onto 2 dvds ?

Or can i just burn the first 2 vobs on one dvd etc

Thanks but this is strange im following the guide using ifoedit right now but when i hit vob extras > split to 2 dvd-rs i get nothing The form in the sreen of the guide doant even show , Am i doing something wrong or is there another app i can try ?

Try re-ripping your original DVD using the RipIt4Me "package" and NOTHING else - meaning do NOT implement AnyDVD...

i keep getting the same memory problem for every app ive tried and now RipIt4Me it looks as if im going to have to give up shrinking this one alltogeather .

Is theyre any other app that can split the decripted files on my hdd onto 2 dvd-rs tbhonest its only a 60gb hdd thyres not a lot of space .

DVD Shrink will gladly use 100% of your CPU and memory.

In re-reading your original post, I don't see any indication that you encountered any problem(s), other than your concern about memory usage. Were any error messages generated? If so, which program generated them and what were the EXACT messages?

The RipIt4Me "package" is capable of properly ripping and compressing "Hostel".

Are you sure you're not simply running out of hard drive space?

am no i mean the program self destructs just like when i overload my flash files , It donst use all my memory , Thanks for the help i think ive got this sorted im using dvd fab to split it onto 2 dvds im at 31% seems to be working .

Thanks guys im going to have like 4KB of space left on my data partition but it should be ok.

1) How much RAM do you have?

2) You should run MEMTest, to see if you have any bad RAM

3) if you're going to do serious work with video, I'd strongly suggest you purchase a MUCH larger hard drive
