Well I have no idea how to search for it, and the browsing I did hasn't turned up anything.
So just in case this has been discussed before, I'll apologize in advance.

It's hard to describe so I'll just show you a screen capture.
My problem is this right here:

http://img261.imageshack.us/img261/6461/clipboard6zv9.png

The "frame type" indicator flips back and forth between "interlaced" and "progressive" while the "info" box at the bottom rapidly switches between "motion code error", "block error", and "mb type error".

However when viewing the ts format video in VLC Player I see nothing wrong with it and it appears entirely interlaced, like any standard 1080i HDTV capture.

I'm sure others have experienced this before. In general I have had no trouble with dgindex, but I have several stubborn videos like this. Hope there's a solution to allow me to encode them.

That's an older version of DGIndex. Did you try version 1.4.9? It may be M2TS, which is supported only in 1.4.9.

If that does not help, please post a link to a fragment of the transport stream. It can be as large as you like. With the stream I'll be able to figure out what is happening.

Problem solved! I was using v1.4.8. With 1.4.9 it works perfectly now. I like these simple solutions :) Thanks!
